Hey there, I’m Tim Botha – a proud Pretoria guy, Principal Property Practitioner, and the founder and broker-owner of Pringle Properties.

Let me take you through my journey. After matriculating from Technical High School, John Vorster, right here in Pretoria, I dove straight into IT back in 2011. I picked up my MCITP qualification as an IT Engineer and, at just 19 years old, I took the leap and started my own IT company, PC Hiccups, where I was the Managing Director. Those early days were full of energy, late nights, and learning what it really means to run your own show.

Life threw me a major curveball in 2013 when my father passed away. The next couple of years were really tough. But in 2015, God had a different plan for me. I took a one-year sabbatical down in the beautiful coastal town of Jeffreys Bay. That time away gave me space to breathe, reflect, and reset. Early in 2016, at the age of 24, I made a big career switch – I left IT behind and stepped into real estate as a candidate property practitioner with RE/MAX in Jeffreys Bay. A short while later, I moved back home to Pretoria and continued building my career as a real estate agent.

Those years were all about growth. While working full-time, I completed my NQF4 and NQF5 qualifications. Fast forward to 2024, and I took another bold step – I founded my own real estate firm, Pringle Properties. Today, in my third year running the business, I serve as the Master Property Practitioner, Principal, and Broker Owner. There’s nothing quite like helping people find their dream home or make smart property moves here in Pretoria and the surrounding areas.

On a personal note, I’ve always had a fire in me to make a positive difference in my community. Right after school, I became an activist with the Democratic Alliance (DA), and I poured a lot of heart into that for many years. In 2026, I felt a strong pull to align my activism more closely with my Christian faith and values, so I shifted over to the VF Plus, where I continue to serve as an activist today.

Looking back, my path hasn’t been a straight line. From starting a business as a teenager, losing my dad, changing careers completely, and now building something of my own – every chapter has taught me resilience, the power of faith, and the importance of trusting God’s timing.
